Because I just feel like telling someone!

Since January I've lost 40 pounds. Yay! 20 more to meet my next goal.

Obsessive Consumption

Kate Bingaman-Burt illustrates all of her purchases. Maybe that would be a good way for me to be more conscious about my spending... AND I could get really good at drawing beer!

Air Max A Day

Designer Matt Stevens visually represents a Nike Air Max shoe a day!  I love it!

Check out the full collection here!  I want a gallery of these prints in my room.

Noma Bar

Probably my favorite graphic designer simply because his work is simple, beautiful, and most importantly (to me at least) clever and funny.

"I need to surprise myself with good ideas and not just illustrate beautiful pictures." NB

Keeping up with the Times.

I really like the type style and layout of the LA times website.  Pretty sure that is all I like about Los Angeles.

Compared to the Seattle and New York times websites... it wins.  I also thought it was funny how LA had a 4.4 earthquake this morning and the websites homepage said in HUGE letters. TIGER RETURNS TO GOLF!  Priorities people!

Gaga and Honey B - Telephone

This woman is insane, but I can't freaking get enough. Best music video I've seen in a long time.

Warning!  NOT for youngster eyes. No exceptions.

The Selby

The Selby is totally one of my favorite sites to check up on.  I have the feed in my google reader and get so excited every time he updates with a new photo.  Todd Selby is a portrait photographer who began taking photos of creative people in their spaces and posting those photos on his site.  His site was so popular that he recently published a book.  Which you can buy here.  (My bday is coming up BTW)

I love almost every photo he's posted.  Beautiful work.  KUDOS Todd.

Quote-prints

Two of my favorite things combined... funny quotes & simple screen prints.

Behold! My latest etsy purchase from seller DearColleen.  Check out her shop.  Lots of cute stuff.  My other favorite quote-print is "Love isn't always the answer on who wants to be a millionaire."  Genius.

Pursuit of Happiness

I can't get enough of this song right now (Pursuit of Happiness - Kid CuDi featuring MGMT & Ratatat), and the alternate music video is SO ILL! Don't even bother with the original video.

Such a hipsta!

Wow! I seriously LOVE this iphone app. As someone who just bought a Diana camera and who loves the look of old school analog photography... trust me you need this app. The Diana is great and all, but requires so much more time and effort compared to this simple iphone application that does all the work for you practically instantaneously.
