Shank you very much.

These past few weeks I have been amazed at my ability to pick myself up and move on. After hours of contemplating why I am not dwelling on current situations and letting myself be miserable I came to a realization.

When I was just 12 years old I started playing Volleyball, a game that I quickly fell in love with. In Volleyball, when the other team is serving, the 3 or 4 players in the back row on your team are on what is called "Serve Receive." The players on serve receive's job is simple, to pass the serve to the setter, but not always easy when a ball is moving fast and across a long distance.

Life is like serve receive. You shank a ball, you get back into position, and you beg the server to hit it at you again because this time, you'll be ready and nail the pass.

This is your brain.
This is your brain on drugs.
